When cleaning the water bath, ensure you’re using the right water. Do not use tap water since it contains various ions and minerals, which may cause corrosion in your device’s stainless steel material. Distilled or de-ionised water is the best option.
To reduce the likelihood of algae, bacteria or fungus from developing in the device, make sure to institute and strictly follow a cleaning schedule.
