Laboratory Water Purification Systems
Purified lab water is the only way to avoid using water which can contain microorganisms, endotoxins, DNase and RNase, salts and other impurities that can change the outcome of your work entirely. Bioline Global are specialists in lab water purification systems including reverse osmosis ultrapure water purification systems and services designed for scientists working in pharmaceutical, clinical, academic, industrial, research, and government laboratories.
Reliable and Versatile Water Purification Systems
Many laboratories in Australia require pure water every day. At Bioline Global, we understand how crucial it is for scientists to obtain a range of water qualities, be it primary grade for routine washing and rinsing or ultrapure for critical scientific and analytical applications such as electrochemistry and HPLC. Whether you need a system for clinical diagnostics and medical research to pharmaceutical quality control, we offer laboratory-grade water purification systems to meet your requirements.
Water Purities of All Levels
Bioline Global’s selection of laboratory water purification systems achieve different levels of water purity to meet your needs.
The different types of water purity reached by our systems are:
Water Type 1: Ultrapure Water
The purest type of water is used for highly sensitive procedures. According to the ASTM D1193-6, the resistivity of ultrapure water is >18MΩ-cm at 25°C. Applications include analytical and life sciences processes, including:
- High-performance liquid chromatography
- Ion chromatography
- Gas chromatography
- Mass spectroscopy
- Atomic absorption
- Mutagenesis
- Crystallography
- Cell and tissue culture
- Molecular and microbiology
The UltraPure Lab Systems produces Type 1 water. Reverse osmosis RO Lab Systems also produce Type 1 water with a dispensing flow of up to 2 l/min.
Water Type 2: Pure Water
Pure water is used in sensitive procedures. According to the ASTM D1193-6, the resistivity of pure water is >18MΩ-cm at 25°C. This is commonly used for general laboratory processes, including:
- Washing and rinsing glassware
- Media preparation
- Buffer preparation
- Chemical/biochemical reagent preparation
- Feeding water for Type 1 water systems
The RO Lab Systems produces Type 2 water with a dispensing flow of up to 2 l/min. When you need a centralised supply of Type 2 water for large facilities, check the RO Central Systems, which features a performance of up to 1100 l/h at 15°C.
Water Type 3: Primary Grade Water
This type is water is used for non-critical work. According to the ASTM D1193-6, the resistivity of primary grade water is >4MΩ-cm at 25°C. After processing, the water is 99% free of impurities, making it ideal for:
- Humidification
- Autoclave use
- Water baths
- Dishwashers
The RO Lab Systems produces Type 3 water with a dispensing flow of up to 2 l/min.
Bioline’s Range of Purification Systems
