The Problem
Specialised PC3-Compliant Autoclave Requirement
NSW Pathology required a pass-through autoclave specifically designed for use in a PC3 (Physical Containment Level 3) environment. Maintaining full compliance with biosecurity regulations was a critical factor.
The installation site had significant space restrictions, and floor levels on either side of the pass-through differed, complicating alignment. Standard trolleys were not suitable, and any compromise would have risked barrier integrity.
